Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and airport partners for a coordinated approach to design, construction, and ORAT.
- Assist DEN project managers so projects meet end-user expectations, and support turnover so facilities are ready on day one.
- Support development and execution of ORAT plans through meetings, site walks, and workshops.
- Track transition risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to minimize disruption to airport operations.
- Coordinate training programs and simulations to prepare airport staff for transition.
- Document meeting minutes, action items, schedules, and trackers; support post-transition evaluations and lessons learned.
Experience and skills
- Experience in airline or airport operations, large-scale event planning, or organizational development.
- Stakeholder engagement with airlines, airport authorities, government agencies, and contractors.
- Training development, operational trials, or simulation exercises prior to facility openings.
- Program development for SOPs, checklists, and forms; familiarity with ORAT methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication; strong project management and planning under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Teams, Excel, and Word.
Preferred
- Denver International Airport experience.
- PMP certification or related project management experience.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in airport or operations management, business administration, or a related field.
DEN BHS Field Quality Control Manager
Ensure the modification and upgrade of DEN’s Baggage Handling System (BHS) is completed as designed. Working with a second quality inspector, you’ll review design documents and inspect BHS installation, primarily on day shift with occasional off-hour inspections.

Responsibilities
- Review project documents, submittals, shop drawings, and installation methods for the BHS.
- Verify delivered BHS equipment matches drawings, submittals, RFIs, and Certificate of Compliance requirements; perform shop inspections as needed.
- Verify electrical installation for main and control power to BHS motors, conveyors, and control systems.
- Complete Quality Control Inspection Reports in ACC, including night-shift reports, and coordinate with night-shift inspectors.
- Meet with DEN QA representatives and DEN Operations, and document progress and resolution of open structural, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- Participate in temporary mock-up installations and coordinate closely with contractor and owner representatives.
Preferred experience
- Electrical systems (power and controls); certifications or licenses preferred.
- Baggage handling systems, or conveying systems in manufacturing environments using process control logic.
- Aviation experience and large-project operational coordination.
Requirements
- Work is onsite at DEN.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
